Artistic Hart House Wedding

Yvan & Robyn got married at the University of Toronto's Hart House in early autumn with 100 of their closest friends and family. What made this wedding so special was their artistic eye and attention to detail - they are a creative force of nature! The love and care they put into all aspects of the day resulted in a wedding that was meaningful, unique and visually gorgeous. They collaborated with some of Toronto's most talented artists and put a tremendous amount of thought into everything from Robyn's paper flower hair piece to their woodland alter that included free standing birch trees and taxidermy. The handwoven rug at the alter was their own creation as they are both rug designers (how amazing is that?!). They also wanted to incorporate their spirit animals (his is the wolf and hers is the unicorn), so they brought their spirit animal masks that they made themselves and wore for their engagement session. They also hand drew personalized totem animals for all of their guests. It was breathtaking to see all of these details come together, it was one of the most magical weddings I've ever photographed.
