Earlier this summer, I photographed a surprise proposal that Justin planned in advance for his then girlfriend/now fiance Amy. It was their four year anniversary and to celebrate he planned a whole night's celebration that included a surprise photoshoot! We both pretended as though he was gifting her a couple's portrait session for their anniversary. When we met up I acted like everything was totally normal - except that I was so giddy with excitement because I knew what was coming up!! Justin and I agreed on a few codewords in advance to secretly communicate with each other about the timing of the proposal. Everything went according to plan, it was spectacular. Thank you so much for letting me in on the sleuthy fun, Justin. I'm wildly excited to be shooting your wedding next year!
On a side note, Amy owns a terrarium company that builds the most magical succulent terrariums. I'm obsessed. They came over for lunch to discuss photography for their wedding next summer (!) and gifted me the most beautiful terrarium! I attached a few photos below so you can all share in my excitement of how magical her creations are. I'm beyond touched and incredibly impressed with the amount of love and care that was put when creating it. There's purple moss!!! PURPLE MOSS!!!
