Steamy session in Ubud, Bali

Steamy sessions can take on many forms and being photographed with a partner or solo can be a transformative experience. Steamy sessions don't have to be just about capturing sexy and explicit photos - they can be whatever you want them to be. The important thing is that you are in control and can explore your desires in a safe and comfortable environment.

For those who choose to be photographed with a partner, the experience can be incredibly rewarding. I personally view it as an opportunity to explore tenderness, intimacy and sensuality. It can be a catalyst to deepen your emotional and physical connection in a safe and controlled environment. I’ve been told previously that it’s been a beautiful opportunity to nurture intimacy. As I see it, steamy sessions can be a powerful way to celebrate and embrace your chemistry and partnership.

I also absolutely love photographing solo boudoir sessions of women and the benefits can be just as significant. Women I’ve photographed previously have described various intentions behind why they wanted to book a steamy boudoir session, such as viewing it as an opportunity to reclaim their bodies, their sexuality and their confidence. I absolutely love witnessing the transformation that happens from the beginning where women feel extremely vulnerable and shy to the end of a session where they feel completely in their own power.

Personally what I love most about photographing steamy sessions is the opportunity to show people what they look like through my eyes. People are very often their own harshest critics and I LOVE being able to show people just how magical they really are.

It's important to note that intimate sessions don't automatically mean taking explicit photos or being fully naked. Intimacy can look like many things, and it's up to you to decide what you’re comfortable with. Whether it's a snuggly cuddling session in bed or a more exploratory experience, the important thing is that it feels safe and comfortable for all involved. To get the most out of your intimate session, it's important to communicate your needs and desires clearly. Establishing boundaries and discussing expectations beforehand very much allow for everyone involved to feel empowered, safe and willing to explore to create a safe and comfortable environment for exploration and discovery.

I really encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zones and try being photographed in an intimate way at least once in their lives!
