Tips for your wedding at The Loft in the Distillery District

The Loft is a relatively small venue nestled in the heart of the Distillery and offers a beautiful blend of industrial sophistication and cozy intimacy. It’s an ideal venue for couples. Here are some points to consider about it:

Embrace the Industrial-Chic Style

I always encourage my couples to split their portrait session to two or 3 times during the day, instead of a long period of time all at once. That way your portrait photos can all have a different vibe and aesthetic because you’ll be taking advantage of different lighting throughout the day. First looks are a great way to split up the amount of time that you’re allotting towards the portraits of you and your love.

Get used to being in front of the camera by scheduling an engagement session before - it’s a great way to have a practice run! Of course, even on weekends, there are ways to minimize the amount of people in the background of your photos.
