Outdoor maternity session in Toronto

I’m so lucky at how often I have repeat clients. Couples who hire me to document their wedding day will support my small business again and again for varying milestones in their lives. It brings me so much joy getting to reunite with people and celebrate the vibrant seasons in their lives. Victoria and I met up at a lake in Peterborough (writing Toronto for SEO purposes haha!) and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. The Peterborough lake we met up at is super shallow so the water can be quite warm on a hot sunny day and easy to float in. It offers a beautiful landscape for portraits and I absolutely love how many lily pads there are. I sometimes incorporate them in photo sessions and it gives them an Ophelia-esque vibe and sometimes I like keeping them out for a cleaner more editorial aesthetic like in these photos here. I am so inspired by this lake and the landscapes we have here in Ontario. Nature is pure magic.
