Right from the very first time we met, I saw in both Annemarie & Kalman a huge well of creativity. Kalman is an illustrator and comic book artist and I saw a kindred spirit in Annemarie who is infatuated with nature as much as I am. I was incredibly excited when they asked me to be their wedding photographer because I knew right from the get go that their wedding would be nothing short of spectacular. Highlights of their wedding:
They got married in the Cathedral of Trees, a magical nook in the middle of a forest at Kortright Conservation Centre. Their ceremony was intimate and fully characterized by their personalities. For example, Annemarie created a moss carpet where she walked down the aisle.
Annemarie & Kalman incorporated a tree watering ceremony into their wedding. It served as proof that there's no right or wrong way to get married. Couples should decide how to get married based on personal meaning.
Kalman surprised Annemarie & their guests by performing alongside the Isshin Taiko drummers

"Doodles for Canoodles" - During dinner, guests were asked to draw doodles of the couple kissing in order for them to kiss. It was a hit since a lot of the guests were artists & illustrators!
