My life these past couple of years was defined by a torrential amount of grief. 2024 has unearthed beautiful shifts of expansion and joy! Through the unfolding of it all, Alex Serra’s body of work has been a source of consistency. Listening to his music has been a space I lean on for coming back to myself. It’s felt medicinal in ways that no other music has ever quite felt like for me. It’s been a profound source of my healing. So you can imagine that getting to photograph him and his radiant wife Anitta Moon was a wildly momentous, full circle moment. What an honour and a gift!
